Amy Howard
Hello and welcome to my blog. I am a writer and educator, currently building my own local history project. I live and work among the lovely surroundings of the Guana Estuary. Since 1991, Guana has been my nature refuge – even when it was an hour away.
In my community activities, I learned that the residents of South Ponte Vedra are what keeps the estuary an estuary. This website is dedicated to that story. I produce more content about life in Ponte Vedra in another blog, Paperless Ponte Vedra.
I have two amazing kids, a full life, and a bright future in the new heaven and new earth.
Disclaimer:
Are these articles factual? Who knows? I am merely conjecturing a story from what I see on paper and what locals tell me. Sometimes I add a dash of dialog for flavor.
If something seems amiss or offensive to you, please do contact me so we can preserve truth AND the estuary.
